“Gobo Sisters Band” is a Serbian band (from Belgrade),
composed of two vocalists, twin sisters Marija and Marina Gobovic, a composer and pianist
Andrej Andrejevic and a few other magnificent multi-instrumentalists
who play traditional Balkan instruments with equal virtuosity as they do the
contemporary ones. The Band performs music inspired by Serbian and Balkan traditions
in their own original and contemporary arrangements. Their sound can be characterized
as a music genre popularly known as “Modern Balkan Tradition” or “Ethno-Pop”.
